stinkyandscorchy.ie is an online garlic, chilli and olive niche gourmet food store operated by Natural Gourmet Foods, registered in Ireland.
WEBSITE ACCESS.
You may access the website without ordering or having to enter any of your personal details.
YOU.
By placing an order on our website, you warrant that you have the capacity to do so and are at least 18 years of age. You acknowledge that if you have any food intolerance or allergy that you will check all food product labelling prior to using the product.
ORDERING.
Once you have selected your chosen products you will proceed to checkout.
Please check that your cart contains the correct items as once you submit payment any mistakes cannot be rectified, and your card will be charged with the total amount. Once payment is authorised your order will be packed and sent for dispatch. If payment is not authorised, we will be unable to dispatch your order. For up-to-date information on order transit times please review the Shipping button on the bottom of our home page menu. Many of our products are packaged in glass because of recyclability but this may create a hazard if glass breaks in transit. If your product arrives damaged, please do not handle. Take a photograph of the damaged product and contact us for a replacement order.
DELIVERY
We offer free delivery on orders over €40. A €8.99 delivery charge is applied to all orders less than €40. Please see our delivery information by pressing the shipping button on the menu on the bottom of our Home page. Deliveries are normally made from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. During busy periods i.e., Christmas, deliveries may be made on Saturdays and Sundays. We work with DPD to ensure timely deliveries.
Important note.
If the recipient /addressee at the delivery address refuses the delivery of the goods or you do not respond to the ‘sorry we missed you note’ left at your premises by the delivery driver or your parcel is being held at your local depot over the number of days stated by the delivery company, your order will be returned to us, the sender. Once your returned order has been received by us, we will refund your order excluding the cost of delivery regardless of whether the delivery has been paid on the initial order. If you do require your order to be resent, you will be required to pay the delivery charge again. Delivery lead times are estimated and cannot be guaranteed.
PAYMENTS.
All transactions are in Euro. Payments are made via credit or debit cards, subject to authority from the card issuer. Most major credit/debit cards are accepted. When placing your order over the internet, your details are transmitted over a secure network connection and we never see your card details, ensuring your personal protection.
At stinkyandscorchy.ie we cannot accept any returns of any perishable food or fresh food products purchased from us. If you would like to return any non-food or non-fresh products you may do so within 14 days of receiving the goods. Return postage must be paid for by the customer and will not be reimbursed by stinkyandscorchy.ie
Any damaged or faulty items must be reported to us within 2 working days of receipt of order for investigation by us. Claims will not be accepted for damages, shortages, or packing errors unless reported within that time frame.
